■ Four Artists Receive Jury Prizes

■ Reflections from Jury Member Hiromi Kurosawa

It was a great honor to review 2,650 exceptional submissions alongside a truly remarkable panel of jurors. I’d like to ask everyone to offer a round of applause for all the artists who couldn’t be here today—because simply submitting a work takes great courage. Many applicants surely worried whether their pieces would be accepted or properly understood. The HERALBONY Art Prize exists to support that spirit of challenge and creative bravery.

Beyond the Grand Prize, I hope our participating companies will continue to support these artists on their journeys and provide them with new platforms to grow. I sincerely wish for the HERALBONY Art Prize to continue empowering artists in the years to come.

■ Ceremony Highlights

A total of 22 artists attended the award ceremony.

To everyone’s surprise, singer AI made a special guest appearance, delivering a powerful performance of three songs that filled the venue with a festive and joyful atmosphere.

About HERALBONY
HERALBONY is a creative company working with artists with intellectual disabilities under the mission of “Radiate Your Color.” We manage the copyrights of more than 2,000 art pieces created by these artists and incorporate them into various business domains. We provide a sustainable business platform for the artists, facilitating many collaborations with enterprises, and the artists receive royalties when their art is used.

Our business is diverse, encompassing a variety of initiatives. In addition to our brand “HERALBONY”, which promotes a new lifestyle with art to drive social change, we offer creative production with art licensing and employee training programs to support corporate DE&I initiatives. We also operate the HERALBONY Art Prize, further expanding opportunities for artists with disabilities. In September 2024, HERALBONY launched its first overseas subsidiary, HERALBONY EUROPE, in Paris, France.

By showcasing their unique expressions through art and design, we aim to change people’s negative perspectives towards ‘disability’ and create a society where everyone’s ‘differences’ are celebrated.
