HERALBONY established the “HERALBONY Art Prize” in January 2024, with the vision of recognizing and elevating artists with disabilities as professionals, enabling them to further their careers.
The partner companies have aligned with the initiative’s purpose: to provide artists with disabilities an opportunity to showcase their creativity and expand their careers on an international scale. This year marks the third edition of the prize, with 1,342 artists from 77 countries and regions submitting a total of 2,943 artworks.
At the HERALBONY Art Prize, companies are not seen as mere supporters but as partners who stand alongside artists and help nurture future possibilities together. Reflecting this philosophy, we use the term “Partner” and have established the “Corporate Prize,” in which partner companies select winning works and create opportunities for these artworks to reach wider society through collaboration.

Opportunities such as attending award ceremonies for corporate prizes and speaking at co-creation events with companies have given many artists the chance to experience key milestones for the first time—wearing a suit, boarding a plane, or visiting Japan. These experiences have opened up new avenues of expression and sparked countless stories that lead to their next works.
Together with its partner companies, the HERALBONY Art Prize will continue to nurture each of these experiences as they grow into the creative work of the future.

About HERALBONY

Founded by brothers Takaya and Fumito Matsuda, HERALBONY is a creative agency that connects artists with disabilities with companies and institutions. Through exceptional art, we change the Perception of “Disability”.
Managing a collection of over 2,000 artworks by neurodiverse artists, we ensure fair royalties and foster a sustainable business model. Our in-house brand, HERALBONY, produces high-quality products infused with artistry and craftsmanship. Additionally, we collaborate with companies to co-create inclusive experiences and creative projects.
We also organize the HERALBONY Art Prize, an international award recognizing outstanding artists with disabilities. In July 2024, we established HERALBONY EUROPE in Paris—our first overseas subsidiary—to further expand our vision on a global scale.
